Detectives investigating the murder of Suhail Choudry in Keighley have made a further arrest.
A 42-year-old man was arrested overnight on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody, West Yorkshire Police confirmed.
The development comes as officers continue enquiries into the death of Suhail Choudry, 35, who died in hospital on Wednesday after being found with serious head injuries on Flasby Street in the early hours of Sunday, 8 February.
Police believe Mr Choudry had been chased and assaulted by a group armed with bats and sticks in the vicinity of East Avenue in what has been described as a targeted attack.
Two additional scenes remain in place on Spencer Street and Parsons Street in Keighley while forensic examinations continue.
Two men aged 27 and 30 who were arrested on suspicion of murder remain on police bail. A 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender is also on bail.
Senior Investigating Officer Matt Holdsworth previously said detectives were examining whether a number of violent incidents in Keighley in the days leading up to the assault could be linked.
Police are appealing for witnesses and have urged anyone with information or relevant CCTV, dashcam, phone or doorbell footage to submit material via the Major Incident Public Portal or contact officers directly.
Crimestoppers is also available for those wishing to provide information anonymously.
Enquiries remain ongoing as detectives work to establish the full circumstances surrounding Mr Choudry’s death.
