A further arrest has been made in the investigation into the murder of Suhail Choudry in Keighley, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed.
Mr Choudry died on 11 February after suffering serious injuries during an assault that took place three days earlier in the town.
Police said a 37-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody while detectives continue their enquiries.
The arrest is the latest development in an investigation led by the force’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
Five men have already been charged with murder in connection with the case.
Majid Hussain, 42, of Devonshire Street in Keighley, has been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.
Four other men Rashid Hussain, 41, Mohammed Aliyan Khan, 23, Hakeem Gulzar, 27, and Faisal Khan, 26, all from Keighley have also been charged with murder as well as possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and violent disorder.
Detectives say enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the fatal assault remain ongoing.
