Four men have been convicted over the rape and sexual abuse of a teenage girl in Kirklees and Wakefield more than 30 years ago.
West Yorkshire Police said the survivor had shown enormous courage in coming forward to report the abuse, which took place between 1994 and 2000.
Jagtar Sahota, 64, from Leeds, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on 29 April to 21 years in prison after being convicted of 11 counts of rape, 11 counts of indecent assault and one count of actual bodily harm.
Police said his offences took place between 1997 and 2000.
A day earlier, Zahid Hussain, 48, and Mohammed Chhibda, 49, were found guilty of indecent assault offences against the same woman. Both men are from Dewsbury.
A fourth man, Basharat Wali, 46, also from Dewsbury, had already pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault.
All three are due to be sentenced on 4 June.
In a victim statement read during Sahota’s trial, the survivor said the abuse had left lifelong damage.
“There are no words what this man has done to me,” she said.
“He took something from me that I can never get back and it’s not just what he did in his moments of abuse – it’s the lifetime of destruction that followed.”
She added that the pain “lives with me every single day” and said she was still trying to heal “one broken piece at a time”.
Detective Chief Inspector Rob Stevens, of Kirklees District Police, said the abuse had taken a dreadful toll on the woman throughout her teenage and adult life.
He said her bravery had now ensured all four men had been convicted and urged other victims of sexual offending to come forward, regardless of how long ago the crimes took place.
