Kylian Mbappe Faces Rape Allegation Following Secretive Trip to Sweden

French football star Kylian Mbappe is facing rape allegations after a whirlwind two-day trip to Sweden, where he reportedly partied at an exclusive nightclub in Stockholm. The 25-year-old forward, currently playing for Real Madrid, is alleged to have attended private events at the high-end club V alongside fellow footballer Nordi Mukiele. Reports suggest that attendees, mostly women, were required to surrender their phones upon arrival, with devices being placed in envelopes to ensure discretion.

The Swedish newspaper Expressen claims Mbappe spent Wednesday and Thursday night at the nightclub V, which is known for its lavish parties attended by celebrities and socialites. The club is famed for its exclusivity, requiring guests to be on a special guest list to enter. The footballer and his entourage, who arrived in Stockholm by private jet, reportedly hired a private “ping pong room” within the venue.

Influencer Julia Franzen, who has attended similar events with Mbappe, described how guests were asked to hand over their phones to maintain privacy. She noted that the guest lists were carefully curated, with only women who “look good and have a nice personality” securing invitations.

Mbappe’s brief trip to Sweden was intended as a getaway to “recharge his batteries” following a busy start to the football season, according to Le Parisien. Photos from the trip showed Mbappe attempting to keep a low profile, wearing a hat and hood as he dined at the expensive restaurant Chez Jolie and left his hotel.

However, Swedish media outlet Aftonbladet first reported on Monday that Mbappe was being investigated by local authorities for allegations of sexual abuse. The alleged victim reportedly sought medical assistance at a Swedish hospital, according to TV4, although specific details of the allegations have not been made public.

In response, Mbappe took to social media, vehemently denying the claims, calling the reports “fake news.” His lawyer, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, later confirmed that Mbappe had been informed of the investigation but stated, “He has nothing to be ashamed of.” She added that neither Mbappe nor his inner circle had any further knowledge of the allegations and that the footballer does not understand the nature of the complaint.

French radio station RMC reported that Mbappe’s inner circle remains calm despite the investigation, with his lawyer asserting that Mbappe “has nothing to accuse himself of.”

As the investigation continues, no further details have emerged, and Mbappe maintains his innocence in the face of the allegations.
