Alejandro Garnacho has rejected a fresh offer from a Saudi Pro League club in the past 48 hours as negotiations between Manchester United and Chelsea over the winger continue to progress.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported that the 21-year-old Argentina international remains fully focused on a move to Stamford Bridge, with talks described as “very advanced”. Garnacho, however, is only one of several forwards Chelsea are exploring as they look to strengthen their attack before the transfer window closes.
Manchester United are seeking around £60m for the player, though industry sources suggest a more realistic figure could be closer to £40m or £50m depending on final negotiations. Chelsea are expected to weigh up those demands alongside their pursuit of other attacking options.
Garnacho, who joined United’s academy in 2020 and broke into the senior squad in 2022, has become one of their most promising young players. His pace and direct play have made him a regular in the starting XI, though his future now looks set to be away from Old Trafford.
