Taylor Swift and American football star Travis Kelce have announced their engagement, sharing a series of intimate photographs capturing the moment.
In a joint social media post, the pair joked: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside a dynamite stick emoji.
The images showed Kelce down on one knee in a flower-filled garden as Swift, visibly emotional, embraced him. The singer’s new engagement ring features a large diamond set on a gold band, glistening in the sunlight. Other photos showed the couple under a floral gazebo, with Swift resting her head on Kelce’s shoulder.
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation among fans, who had pointed to details in earlier posts suggesting the couple were already engaged. A July photo of Kelce’s phone lockscreen appeared to show Swift wearing a ring, sparking rumours of a secret proposal.
