The names of Elon Musk and Prince Andrew have appeared in newly released documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein, published by Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee.
The files, which include schedules and flight logs, suggest that Musk was a potential visitor to Epstein’s private island, Little St James, on 6 December 2014. The entry, listed as a reminder, reads: “Elon Musk to island Dec.6 (is this still happening?).” The date came six years after Epstein had been convicted as a sex offender. Musk has not responded to requests for comment.
Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet in May 2000, flying from Teterboro, New Jersey, to Palm Beach, Florida. The documents show his name alongside Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and two other redacted passengers. The duke’s travel on Epstein’s aircraft has previously been raised in Maxwell’s criminal trial, when a witness said she had been on the same flight at the age of 14. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
The latest records also highlight Epstein’s connections with other high-profile figures, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, PayPal founder Peter Thiel, and Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s former chief strategist.
Victim names in the files have been redacted, with the committee saying more documents will be published once redaction work is complete.
