Former cricketers Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq have been removed from the seven-member selection committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). This reshuffle follows Pakistan’s early exit from the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024.

Asad Shafiq and Mohammad Yousuf remain part of the committee for now, but sources suggest that they too may soon be replaced. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is expected to announce a new selection committee in the coming days. Naqvi had previously hinted at a ‘major surgery’ in the setup after Pakistan lost two of their opening games in the T20 World Cup 2024.
