Officers were called after receiving reports that a car had collided with several pedestrians in Ealing Broadway.
Police said five pedestrians were injured in the collision. Two people were treated at the scene, while three others were taken to hospital, where their injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
