Police responded to the incident around 7 pm on the quiet street of Ashlyn Close in Bushey. A murder investigation was immediately launched, and a manhunt for the suspect, Kyle Clifford, is ongoing. Clifford, 26, is believed to be the ex-boyfriend of one of the victims. Police have warned the public not to approach him as he may still be in possession of a crossbow and potentially other weapons.

In a direct appeal during a press conference, Hertfordshire Police Chief Superintendent Jon Simpson urged Kyle Clifford, the suspect in the Bushey triple murder case, to make contact with the police. Simpson stated, “Kyle, if you’re seeing or hearing this, please make contact with the police.” This plea comes as police continue their extensive search for Clifford, who is wanted in connection with the murder of three women, aged 25, 28, and 61, in what is believed to be a targeted incident. The ongoing manhunt involves armed police officers and specialist search teams deployed to various locations in north London and the Bushey area of Hertfordshire. The public is warned not to approach Clifford and to call 999 immediately if they see him. Chief Supt Simpson also reassured local residents, stating, “This incident will be, of course, of concern to local residents. Additional local officers will be in the area today, so please do speak to them if you need to.” A major crime inquiry has been launched, and police are appealing to the public for any information related to the incident. Officers are conducting house-to-house inquiries, collecting doorbell camera footage, and speaking with potential witnesses to gather more information. The police have confirmed that a crossbow and possibly other weapons were used in the attack, which has deeply shocked the local community. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any relevant information to the authorities.
