Reuters cited security sources confirming that dozens of Hezbollah members were wounded in the incident. A journalist for the agency reported witnessing 10 Hezbollah members bleeding from their injuries. Security sources indicated that hundreds of members were seriously injured, with incidents reported across multiple locations, including Beirut’s southern suburbs, the Bekaa Valley, and southern Lebanon in areas like Nabatieh, Al-Hosh, Bint Jbeil, and Tyre.

The hacking of communications devices has been employed by Israel in the past, with the assassination of Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukr reportedly achieved through similar means. There has been no official comment from Israel regarding this incident.
