MasterChef host Gregg Wallace has denied allegations of making inappropriate sexual comments to a female colleague during his appearance on the show Impossible Celebrities in 2018. The allegations, initially reported by The Sun, suggested that Wallace had removed his shirt and boasted about his sex life to the younger woman while they worked on the show.

Wallace addressed the claims in two Instagram stories on Monday, stating that the incident had been investigated by the BBC at the time and that no inappropriate sexual comments were made. “Do I need to repeat this again? I didn’t say anything sexual,” Wallace said in his first post, reiterating that the investigation cleared him of the allegations.

He further responded by emphasising his commitment to his wife, Anna, with whom he has been for 12 years. “I have always been true to my wife Anna,” Wallace stated, denying any accusations of flirting or inappropriate behaviour.

The BBC released a statement saying it does not tolerate inappropriate behaviour and that it has “robust processes” in place to address such complaints. Wallace has yet to provide further comment on the matter but maintains that the allegations were thoroughly investigated and resolved.

According to an unnamed source cited by The Sun, the allegations included claims that Wallace made “consistent inappropriate comments” and spoke about his sex life in front of the live audience during the filming of the panel show. The source added that the production team reported the behaviour to BBC management at the time.

Despite these claims, Wallace has firmly denied any misconduct, highlighting that the issue was addressed years ago, and no inappropriate behaviour was confirmed.
