A security guard who was seriously injured after being struck by a car outside a nightclub in central London has been named as Anoosh Chaichy.
Mr Chaichy, 56, was hit during an incident outside the Inca nightclub on Argyll Street in Mayfair involving a vehicle allegedly driven by Gabrielle Carrington, also known as Rielle.
Carrington, 29, is a former X Factor finalist who appeared in the 2013 live shows as part of the girl group Miss Dynamix.
The court has heard the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning, when Carrington is alleged to have driven her Mercedes into a group of people outside the venue.
Mr Chaichy, who works as a security guard, was attempting to move his scooter out of the way when he was struck, suffering life-changing injuries.
Another victim, social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska, remains in a life-threatening condition in hospital after being hit and dragged under the vehicle during the incident.
A third person, Latisha Armstrong, also sustained injuries, including a fractured wrist.
Prosecutors previously told the court the vehicle mounted the pavement before striking multiple people, with footage said to show the car surging forward into the crowd.
Carrington faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving and drink driving.
She was remanded in custody following a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 19 May.
