Two More Arrested In Zeshaan Shaukat Murder Probe As Total Reaches 13

Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder in the investigation into the fatal stabbing of Zeshaan Shaukat in Birmingham, bringing the total number of arrests to 13.

Mr Shaukat, 34, was attacked outside his home on Ashville Avenue in Hodge Hill at around 11.50pm on August 25.

He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries three days later on August 28.

West Midlands Police said two men aged in their 20s were arrested overnight and taken into custody for questioning.

Thirteen Arrests Made

Police have now arrested 13 people as part of the investigation into Mr Shaukat’s death.

The latest two suspects were detained on suspicion of murder.

A man was also charged with conspiracy to murder on Thursday, September 10.

Police have not yet released further details about the latest two men or the specific allegations against them beyond the murder arrests.

CCTV Enquiries Continue

Detectives are continuing to gather CCTV footage as they work to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack.

West Midlands Police said the investigation remains focused on identifying exactly what happened and who was involved.

The force has continued to appeal for information from members of the public who may be able to assist.

Extra Patrols In Hodge Hill

Additional patrols have been deployed in and around the Hodge Hill area since the fatal stabbing.

Police said the increased presence is intended to provide reassurance to the local community while the investigation continues.

Mr Shaukat was fatally injured outside his own home and died in hospital three days later.
