Natasha Iqbal’s Bail Request Rejected in Drug-Related Karsaz Crash Case

A judicial magistrate in Karachi has denied the bail request of Natasha Iqbal in a case related to a fatal car accident on Karsaz Road that claimed the lives of Imran Arif and his daughter, Amina Arif. This decision was made despite reports that Natasha’s family had reached a settlement with the victims’ families, reportedly paying over 50 million rupees in compensation in accordance with Islamic law.

The victims’ heirs, including Imran Arif’s wife, Romana Imran, and their children, had submitted an affidavit confirming the settlement and expressed no objection to Natasha being granted bail. As part of the agreement, a family member of Amina Arif is expected to be offered employment. Despite the settlement and the affidavit from the victims’ families, the court chose to reject the bail request, keeping Natasha in custody while the case continues.
