Seven members of the Harrow Road Boys (HRB) gang have been found guilty of conspiring to possess a firearm with intent, linked to a plot to target rival drill artist Digga D, whose real name is Rhys Herbert.

Jayvon Tison, Kylann Grannum, Mustafa Abdalla, Romello Briggs-Leon, Harry Crump, Yasin Abdulla, and Herman Yikalo were convicted following a trial that examined attempts to acquire a gun between July and November 2022.

The indictment also listed rapper Marvin Bailey, better known as Fredo, as a co-conspirator. Bailey, however, is believed to be abroad and was not among those convicted.

An eighth individual, Abraham Safo Frimpong, was acquitted of the firearms conspiracy charge but was convicted of contravening the Prisons Act. All eight defendants, including those convicted of both offences, were found guilty of smuggling mobile phones into prison.

Sentencing for all individuals is expected later this week.
