Detectives investigating the murder of Suhail Choudry in Keighley have charged three men in connection with his death.

Mohammed Aliyan Khan, 23, and Faisal Khan, 26, both of Malsis Road, Keighley, and Hakeem Gulzar, 27, of Plover Street, Keighley, have each been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and violent disorder.

All three have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court.

West Yorkshire Police also confirmed that two further people have been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation. A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, while a 26-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. Both remain in police custody.

Mr Choudry, 35, died in hospital on 11 February after being assaulted in Keighley three days earlier.

Enquiries by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team remain ongoing.
