Six men have been sentenced for their roles in the killing of Shamus Hussain in a park in Dewsbury last year.
Hussain, 39, died after being attacked in Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury Moor, on July 12 following an earlier confrontation.
A jury at Leeds Crown Court found four men guilty of murder and two others guilty of manslaughter.
Saqlain Ali, 22, of Pilgrim Drive, Dewsbury, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years and 56 days.
Basit Ali, 32, of Pilgrim Drive, Dewsbury, and Sakeb Ali Khan, 33, also of Pilgrim Drive, were each sentenced to life imprisonment with minimum terms of 15 years and 56 days.
Zeeshan Khan, 19, of Pilgrim Crescent, Dewsbury, was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 10 years and 64 days.
Asim Akram, 21, and Faizaan Akram, 19, both of Pilgrim Crescent, Dewsbury, were each sentenced to seven years after being convicted of manslaughter.
The court heard that a verbal argument took place on Pilgrim Drive before a group followed Hussain into Crow Nest Park, where he was attacked with baseball bats and hockey sticks.
He was also stabbed twice in the back, causing fatal injuries.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police carried out an investigation using CCTV footage and witness accounts to establish Hussain’s movements and identify those responsible.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said the attack took place in broad daylight and resulted in fatal injuries.
He said the investigation team reviewed hours of footage and gathered evidence to bring those involved before the courts.
