The deployment of Metropolitan Police divers marks a further escalation in the search operation, which has already involved specialist police officers, dogs, HM Coastguard, firefighters and search and rescue teams.

Officers have previously asked members of the public not to search open water themselves because such areas require specialist expertise.

Industrial Estate Also Being Searched

Decoy Pond is not the only area currently being examined.

Police have also cordoned off and searched a nearby industrial estate as officers continue to cover a wide area around Brantham.

Authorities have said they are leaving “no stone unturned” as they attempt to establish where Noah went after disappearing from the playground area.

Last Seen Near Playground

Noah was last confirmed to have been seen at Merriman Close Playground in Brantham.

He had been at the playground with a relative before becoming separated as they left the area.

Police have previously released CCTV showing him at the playground shortly before he went missing.

Noah is non-verbal, has partial hearing loss and is undergoing an autism assessment. Police have said he may not respond when his name is called.
