Police have made a further arrest in the ongoing investigation into the death of Suhail Choudry in Keighley.
Mr Choudry, 35, was found with serious head injuries on Flasby Street shortly after 3.14am on Sunday, February 8. He died three days later as a result of his injuries.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that five men have already been charged in connection with the case. The charges include murder, violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
On Tuesday morning, a sixth suspect was arrested. A 39-year-old man was detained in the Keighley area on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
In a statement, a police spokesperson said: “A further arrest has been made in the investigation into the murder of Suhail Choudry in Keighley. A 39-year-old man was arrested this morning in the Keighley area on suspicion of murder. He is in police custody at this time. Enquiries are ongoing.”
